Community Together
Where access meets empathy, and vision becomes reality.

Mission
To eliminate avoidable blindness in India, district by district, person by person by delivering world-class medical and surgical eye care to those who’ve been denied it for far too long. Because restoring sight isn't just a medical act, it’s a catalyst for dignity, livelihood, and hope.
Vision
An India where no one remains in darkness because they couldn't afford to see.
Where every citizen, irrespective of income or geography has access to timely, quality eye care.
Where blindness is no longer a public health problem, but a problem we've solved.

The Problem
Blindness steals more than sight, it steals childhoods, livelihoods, futures.
India is home to over 8 million blind individuals. 80% of these cases are preventable. The culprits? Cataracts and uncorrected refractive errors, treatable conditions that continue to destroy lives, simply because access to care is out of reach.
In rural communities, blindness can mean a child drops out of school.
A mother loses her independence. A breadwinner becomes jobless. Families spiral into deeper poverty, and generations feel the impact.
But blindness isn’t just a medical issue, it’s a justice issue.
At AKAK ClearView Foundation, we don’t just treat eye diseases, we treat systemic inequality, one restored vision at a time.
Our Story
Building a better future through compassion
It began with a belief. That sight shouldn’t be a privilege, it should be a right.
AKAK ClearView Foundation was born out of compassion, conviction, and a deep understanding of India's eye health crisis. Founded by Mrs. Parul Kumar and Ms. Aarshi Kumar, under the guidance of Dr. Atul Kumar, one of India’s most respected ophthalmologists, and Dr. Aman Kumar, a surgeon known for his precision and empathy, the Foundation stands at the intersection of clinical excellence and social equity.
What began as a response to the glaring gaps in public eye care has now grown into a movement.
A movement that has taken screenings, surgeries, and second chances to districts and doorsteps where hope was running low.
Because when you restore sight, you don’t just change how someone sees the world, you change their place in it.

Behind every surgery, every camp, every success story are people who refused to look away.
